The Story Of A Knight

Luis Samuel de Assuncao was a young knight from Lisbon in Portugal. He had grown up in a wealthy and respected family, and his parents had taught him the values of chivalry. From an early age, Luis showed aptitude for fighting and he spent a lot of time training to perfect his technique.


One day, when he was only 15 years old, Luis received a message from a neighboring lord who was looking for a champion to defend his citadel against an invading army. Without hesitation, Luis accepted the mission and immediately left to face his opponents. Despite their numerical superiority, the soldiers could not resist the bravery of the young knight and were overcome by his skill in combat. The lord was so impressed by Luis' courage that he offered him a considerable reward in recognition of his achievement.


Since that day, the name of Luis Samuel de Assuncao has been associated with bravery and loyalty throughout the country. He continued to serve his lord faithfully for years until he eventually retired after reaching a respectable age. Even today, stories are still told of the heroic exploits of the brave Portuguese knight who inspired so many other generations after him!
