Autumn Story

Mount Fuji was covered in a layer of snow that reflected the autumn sunlight. It was a beautiful sight, but also very intimidating. The snow-capped peaks rose skyward and seemed to mock the humble visitors who gazed down upon them.


A young man was among those who had come to admire the beauty of Mount Fuji. He had come here to find some comfort and inner peace after going through a difficult time in his life. As he walked the winding paths, he felt filled with a deep sense of respect for the nature around him and for all the creatures that still dwelt there.


He kept walking until he came to a place where he could see the whole mountain unfolding before him. The landscape was so large and powerful that the young man was taken with a feeling of humility in the face of this immensity. The cool breeze blowing across his face helped calm his tormenting thoughts and he felt a deep calm settle within him as he realized how small he was in the face of forces greater than these. He stood silently admiring the majestic scenery before him until the sun began to set behind the snow-capped mountains, signaling the end of his walk to Mount Fuji.
