Autumn Story

Once upon a time, a young man named Li was traveling through China. He stopped in Yunnan to see the fields of Yuanyang rice terraces. The colors of the fields were beautiful, but what impressed him most was the way the water moved through the mountains and valleys. It was as if Li was advancing towards the heavens.


Li looked around and noticed that everyone seemed to be happy and peaceful. He immediately felt at home and began to explore the area with enthusiasm. He walked for hours, taking the time to admire every detail of the landscapes he encountered on his way. The cool autumn breeze blowing on his skin was invigorating and he felt closer to God than ever before.


When he finally reached the top of the terraces, he was amazed by the beauty of the landscape in front of him: green hills bordered by a shimmering turquoise sea with a few fluffy white clouds floating; an orange-orange sun gently illuminating every plot of land; and in the distance, the snowy peaks of the Himalayan range giving the whole scene an extra magical touch… Li stood for a long time to savor this once in a lifetime moment.


The traveler then continued his exploration by descending slowly to the bottom of the terraces, endlessly admiring the various golden-red-brown-yellow hues that the rice fields take on in autumn – an indescribable spectacle! The more he descended towards the valley, the more he felt growing within him a deep feeling of inner peace and gratitude for all this natural beauty that he had had the chance to admire during his trip...
