Sleeping Story

Blue Snuggles was a small hummingbird with bright blue colored feathers. He loved to fly and hang out with his friends in the trees. Every night he got ready to go to sleep by making rounds around the flowers. He loved smelling the sweet scent they gave off and seeing all the colors that shone in the setting sun.


One evening, Blue Snuggles decided to take his flight to the moon to admire its quiet and calm beauty. As the moon shone softly, he began to sing a lullaby to fall asleep peacefully. Her melodious little voice echoed in the silence of the night like a soft whisper that soothed all around her.


He continued to sing until he felt his eyelids grow heavy and fall into a deep, restful sleep. When he awoke the next morning, Blue Snuggles had forgotten about his trip to the moon but still remembered how it shone so beautifully every night as he hummed his lullaby before closing his eyes to dream.
