Meeting

One day, the great artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci was walking through the streets of Florence when he saw an old Ford Model T parked on the sidewalk. He stopped to admire the car and noticed that it was covered with a layer of dust accumulated over the years.


He approached even closer and saw that the name "Winona Rempel" was written on the door. Intrigued, he opened the door to look inside and found a letter that had been slipped under the driver's seat. The letter explained that Winona Rempel bought this car in 1917 after saving every penny she earned by working hard all her life. She had kept it until she died at the age of seventy in 1953, but she had had no heirs to take care of her beloved car.


When Leonardo da Vinci finished reading, he immediately decided to buy the car so Winona could keep driving long after he died. He then fully restored the Ford Model T with love and care and even made a small monument to Winona in front of her house to honor her memory. Whenever Leonardo drove his Winona Rempel, he always thought of the brave woman who had given him a second chance.
