Origin Story

It was 1967, and Yoshu had decided to create a work of art that would represent his vision of the future. He had set to work creating an ukiyo-e of the Citroen DS.


Yoshu wanted his work to be as realistic as possible and to reflect the latest technological innovations of the time. He spent hours painting every little part of the car, until it almost became like a tangible object. The paintwork was so precise you would think the car was going to roll on its own!


Once his canvas was finished, Yoshu decided to give his painting a title: “The Future is Now”. His canvas was filled with hope and showed how progress can bring about positive change in our world. Looking at this ukiyo-e, one could imagine a better future where everything will be possible thanks to new innovative technologies.


Today, this ukiyo-e is still considered a masterpiece that reflects people's future aspirations for a better and more progressive world. It also symbolizes Yoshu's unique artistic talent and reminds people that nothing is impossible if you believe in it strongly enough!
