Origin Story

Once upon a time there was a man named Torii who always dreamed of creating works of art. He was fascinated by cars and their beauty, so he decided he was going to specialize in ukiyo-e painting of cars. After years of hard work, Torii manages to get an order to paint a Ford GT40 Gulf.


Torii settled down at his easel and began to work on his canvas. He spent hours perfecting every detail and bringing the car's flowing lines to life. The colors were gorgeous - royal blue, white, orange and yellow - everything Torii could imagine to capture the very essence of the Ford GT40 Gulf.


When the painting was finally finished, Torii could almost hear the roar of the mighty engine coming out of the open hood. The scene depicted on his canvas was so realistic that one would have thought that this superb machine had just passed in front of him! Watching it was almost mesmerizing and he savored every second he spent with her before finally signing his Ukiyo-e masterpiece Ford GT40 Gulf.
