Origin Story

Once upon a time there was a young man who dreamed of owning his own Mini Cooper. He had heard of cars and had seen a few on television, but he had never had the opportunity to drive one. So, with his small salary, he decided to buy a beautiful ukiyo-e painting representing a Mini Cooper painted by Utagawa.


The day the painting arrived at his home, he was amazed by its beauty and exceptional quality. The Mini Cooper was so realistic that he could almost feel the wind in his face as he drove through the roads of the landscape painted in the painting. He spent hours admiring this masterpiece and imagining what it would be like to drive this superb car.


One day, while looking at his favorite painting, the young man realized that his dreams could finally come true: thanks to a friend who worked in the automotive industry, he was able to get a beautiful, brand new red Mini Cooper! He was so excited that he immediately ran up to her and started taking laps around town with her. However, every time he returned home after a long day driving his new car, his first gesture was always to go and admire his beautiful ukiyo-e painting of his mini cooper painted by Utagawa – a constant reminder of the dream that finally came true!
