Origin Story

Once upon a time there was a young man named Yoshu who dreamed of driving the most powerful and spectacular car: the Ferrari Laferrari. He spent hours drawing his own version, adding the finer details to make his dream come true.


One day he decided it was time to take action and he went to the Ferrari dealership to buy his precious car. After signing all the papers, he got behind the wheel and headed for the nearest racing circuit.


Once there, Yoshu was finally able to take full advantage of his new acquisition. The power of the V12 engine sent shivers down his spine every time he pressed the accelerator and he was enthused by the sound typical of this peerless Italian machine. He savored each turn with incredible speed and felt the raw power of this car which only increased as it accelerated even faster. A unique sensation that could only be obtained thanks to this technological marvel designed by Ferrari!


Upon returning home, Yoshu decided to capture this magical moment by painting an ukiyo-e depicting his blazing red Ferrari Laferrari zipping around the racetrack at incredible speed. And as if to immortalize this unforgettable moment, he entitled his work “The Ikon” – a representative symbol of the thrills provided by this mad race!
