Night Walk

Chukai was walking through the streets of Beijing, in the pouring rain. The night was calm and quiet, which gave him time to reflect on his day. He walked slowly, admiring the Great Wall of China looming before him with its thick, towering walls.

He continued his walk to the Temple of Heaven where he stopped to admire the beauty of the place. The colorful pavilions and lush landscapes kept him dreaming for a while before he resumed his journey downtown. He passed a small shop where he bought a hot drink to warm up before continuing his night walk.

Finally arrived at Beihai Park, Chukai took a seat on a bench to quietly contemplate the view of the lake with turquoise waters. The ambient calm allowed him to digest his meal while enjoying the landscape around him. In the distance, you could hear the songs of the birds and see the luminous reflections of the lanterns hanging from the branches of the trees which gently illuminated this peaceful and romantic scene.

Chukai sat on this bench for several hours enjoying the calm before the night came to an end and he finally decided to return home after this pleasant evening stroll through the rainy streets of Beijing.
