Sekinat Isioma Kayode is a daring young woman who grew up in a small village on the banks of a river. Determined to discover the world, she leaves her village and travels to the nearby town to find work. However, his quest is more difficult than expected. She finds herself confronted with prejudice and discrimination linked to her origin and her gender. Despite these obstacles, Sekinat continues to persevere and her efforts pay off when she finally gets a job at a local factory. But that's not all: Sekinat then decided to build a hydroelectric dam for the benefit of his community, which aroused harsh criticism from the local authorities. Unwilling to be intimidated, Sekinat continues with his project until the dam is finally complete – providing everyone in the village with an abundant source of fresh, reliable water for years to come.
