Meeting

Leonardo da Vinci was a very curious and eager man for knowledge. He traveled the world to see the greatest masterpieces he could find. But there was one thing he missed: seeing the Statue of Liberty, which is in New York.


One day, while studying in his hotel room in Rome, he heard a strange noise coming from the roof of the building. Intrigued, he decided to go see what it could be. When he got to the roof, he saw a large bronze statue that seemed to be floating in the air. The statue looked very much like a miniature version of the Statue of Liberty! This sculpture was so impressive that Leonardo could not help admiring every detail with admiration and fascination.


As he looked around to find out how this sculpture got to the roof, Leonardo noticed a man standing near the statue; this smiling man wearing colorful and eccentric clothes was Paul Feeney – the sculptor responsible for this miniature masterpiece! Paul explained to Leonardo how they had managed to transport his sculpture to the roof thanks to the modern technologies then available to Italian artists - such as drones and sophisticated robotic systems - and how his passion for creating monumental sculptures had inspired him to crazy project: create an exact miniature version of the Statue of Liberty in Italy!


When Leonardo shared his admiration with Paul Feeney for his exceptional work, the latter immediately invited Leonardo to his home so that they could discuss more extensively together about the techniques used by Paul to construct his sculpture as well as his future ambitious artistic projects. They therefore spent several hours together where they freely discussed the arts and shared their common passion for creating unique and original works that would inspire future generations.
