Meeting

Leonardo da Vinci was a great Italian inventor and artist who lived in Florence in the 16th century. He was known for his paintings, his inventions and his insatiable curiosity. One day Leonardo decided to go to Egypt to explore the ancient pyramids and see what he could learn from their history.


He began with the largest of the pyramids, that of Cheops also called the Great Pyramid. Approaching the temple doors, he noticed a familiar figure sitting on a bench outside the main entrance. It was Professor Dr. Wahib Abdel Muttalib, a renowned Egyptian archaeologist who had been researching the Great Pyramid for many years.


The professor immediately recognized Leonardo and stood up to shake his hand warmly. He then invited Leonardo to enter the temple where they had a long discussion about the secrets contained in the thousand-year-old stone walls. The professor explained to Leonardo how each part of the complex had been built with precision and ingenuity in order to ensure its survival for centuries to come. The hours passed without either of them realizing the time that was passing as they were absorbed in their fascinating conversations about ancient architecture and modern technologies comparable to those used by ancient architects.
