Picture of The Colosseum Summer

Once upon a time there was a young man named John who had dreamed of visiting the Colosseum since he was a child. He had heard of the gladiators, the battles and the spectacle that once took place there and he wanted to see this mythical place with his own eyes.


So when summer arrived, John prepared to take that long-awaited trip. He boarded a train for Rome and arrived at Termini station in the middle of the day. The sweltering heat reminded him that it was summer, but he couldn't be happier because he was finally going to realize his dream.


John walked to the Colosseum and marveled at its imposing size and architectural beauty. He spent the whole day exploring the ruins, taking pictures and imagining how this place must have once looked - full of life and color. As the sun began to set over the Roman landscape, John savored every moment left in this magical place before heading back home.
