Night Time Story

It was a summer evening, the sun was slowly setting on the great pyramid of Cheops. A cool breeze blew through the air and the shadows lengthened as day faded into night.


The young man who was seated at the foot of the pyramid contemplated this magnificent landscape with admiration. He had heard fascinating stories about this place and he had come here to find out for himself if they were true.


Suddenly, while he admired the colors of the sunset, a soft and mysterious voice echoed in his head: "You are the one I was waiting for". The young man was surprised but couldn't help feeling an inexplicable feeling inside him. Without knowing why, he got up and began to climb the steps towards the royal chamber inside the pyramid.


He climbed each step with confidence and soon came to a solid gold door that shone faintly in the dimness of the setting sun. He stretched out his shaking hand towards her and gently opened the door... Inside was an empty room whose walls were covered with ancient hieroglyphs carved deep into the polished black granite from years passed without being touched by anyone. In the middle was a solid gold throne surmounted by a crown encrusted with precious jewels glistening softly in the rays of the setting sun…


The young man then understood that this room was intended for someone with a great destiny and that advancing towards it would probably mean his official entry into this ancient kingdom...
