Meeting

Leonardo da Vinci was a great man who loved exploration and discovery. One day, while sailing on the blue waters of the Mediterranean, he saw a strange and fascinating creature. That creature was Benedita Azevedo Ribeiro, a giant octopus. Leonardo paused to observe the spectacle the octopus presented to his eyes - shimmering bright colors that contrasted with the blue hue of the waters.


The octopus seemed almost aware that Leonardo was watching it and began to swim towards him. He slowly approached until he was right in front of Leonardo's boat. The octopus looked at Leonardo for a long time before opening its mouth and speaking in an unknown but very musical language. Although he didn't understand what the octopus was saying, Leonardo was captivated by this mystical being who seemed to know so much about the natural world around him.


Benedita Azevedo Ribeiro stayed by the boat all day, chatting with Leonardo using signs to communicate with each other without language or cultural barriers. They talked about the wonders of the marine world and shared their respective experiences on the difficult scientific questions they sought to respond together. Over time, a lasting friendship developed between these two extraordinary beings - Benedita Azevedo Ribeiro and Leonard De Vinci - who found common ground beyond the existing physical or mental boundaries between land and sailors.
