Meeting

Leonardo da Vinci was a very curious man and he loved to venture into remote corners of Italy. One day, while he was walking near the hills of Val di Chiana, he saw a lone donkey grazing peacefully in the meadow. Curious, Leonardo approached to get a better look at the donkey.

When he got closer, he noticed that the donkey had a plaque on it that read “Count Tamás Panna”. Intrigued by this strange encounter, Leonardo decided to stop and chat with the donkey. He then learned that this noble animal had once lived in the castle of Count Tamás Panna in Hungary and that it had been brought to Italy by its master to serve as a battle horse during the Italian wars against France and Spain.

Unfortunately, Count Tamás Panna was killed in battle and his donkey was abandoned on the battlefield. Since that day, Count Tamás Panna wandered alone through the Italian hills until he met Leonardo Da Vinci that day. Touched by his tragic but courageous story, Leonardo then decided to adopt Count Tamás Panna as a companion for his future travels and together they embarked on a great adventure that would change their lives forever!
