Picture of Marmot Leonardo Da Vinci
Meeting
Leonardo da Vinci was a great artist and inventor, but what he loved above all was nature. He spent a lot of time exploring the hills and forests around his Italian village. One day, while walking in a clearing, he suddenly heard strange sounds coming from a bush. Intrigued, he approached to see what was happening and discovered a groundhog sitting on a rock. She looked at him curiously and didn't seem fazed by his presence.
Leonard slowly approached the hairy little creature, speaking softly to it. The groundhog wasn't scared at all and she responded with happy little cries! Leonard was so surprised that he couldn't help laughing at this amusing scene. He noticed that the groundhog had gorgeous golden-spotted brown fur and bright eyes that gave it an intelligent look.
As Leonardo tried to communicate with her, the groundhog began to hop around him as if to play with him! That's when she introduced herself: "Hello, I'm Tiina Aleksandrov!" Leonard was amazed because he had never met a groundhog capable of speaking before! They quickly became friends and spent the rest of the afternoon chatting together or exploring the surroundings hand in hand!
