Meeting

Leonardo da Vinci was a famous artist and inventor who lived in Italy. One day, while working in his workshop, he heard a voice coming from the garden behind his house. Intrigued, Leonardo walked to the source of the noise and discovered a hippopotamus named Ou Mangudai that had escaped from a traveling circus.


Ou Mangudai was very curious and approached Leonardo with interest. He started to stare at him as Leonardo spoke softly to him. Soon the two became friends and spent hours together chatting and exploring the world around them. They often went for a walk on the hills near Leonardo's where they took pleasure in admiring the surrounding nature.


One day, while sitting by a river, Ou Mangudai showed Leonardo how to use a twig to sketch pictures on pebbles floating in calm water. This activity gave birth to the first sketches of what would later become the fifth version of the Mona Lisa painting by the great Italian painter! Thus was the meeting between Leonardo da Vinci and Ou Mangudai - a meeting that changed history!
