Meeting

Leonardo da Vinci was a very creative and curious man who loved to explore the world. One day, while he was walking in the Italian hills, he saw a magnificent dog frolicking happily in the green grass. He approached to admire his beauty and noticed that he had a strange mark on his side: a lion's head. Intrigued, Leonardo decided to stop to pet the dog and talk to him.


The dog introduced himself as Leonardo Lovato, a four-year-old Bernese mountain dog. The dog explained to Leonardo that his family had traveled from Switzerland to Italy so that he could participate in prestigious dog shows. Leonardo was charmed by the courage and determination of the Bernese mountain dog and they quickly became friends. They spent several hours together discussing the new inventions that Leonardo had conceived or the works of art of which he was proud; meanwhile Leonardo Lovato was running around them barking happily!


Before night fell, Leonard invited his new canine friend to come live with him so they could continue to spend time together each day. And that's how Leonardo Lovato entered the life of Leonardo Da Vinci; long morning walks with his faithful companion were always a source of inspiration for the great Italian artist!
