Biography

Lavada Gulgowski II was a female elephant born on May 14, 1954 in the United States. She grew up in a rich and nurturing environment that encouraged her to pursue her dreams.


She began her career as an astronaut at NASA, where she stood out for her intelligence and perseverance. In 1978, she became the first elephant to join the United States Space Agency and participated in several important space missions, including the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. She was passionate about science and had an in-depth knowledge of subjects such as astrophysics, cosmology and astronomy.


Sadly, Lavada Gulgowski II passed away on January 13, 2015 after a long illness. His outstanding contribution to space exploration will be etched in our memories forever.
