Origin Story

A young woman named Hana lived in Tokyo. She was highly regarded for her work in ukiyo-e, the traditional Japanese style of painting. Her passion for painting was so great that she devoted all her days to creating works that captured the scenes unfolding in nature and cityscapes.


One day, she heard about a well-known artist named Utagawa who offered courses in tropical ukiyo-e. Without hesitating for a second, Hana immediately enrolled and immediately began her studies with Utagawa.


Over the months, she perfected her technique and became a master in the art of tropical ukiyo-e. Her teacher was so impressed by her talent that he decided to offer her a painting specially created for her: Ukiyo-E Tropical drawn by Utagawa. The canvas depicted a beautiful sunset over a turquoise blue ocean, illuminating the sky with orange and pastel pink hues. The black silhouettes of the palm trees stood against this marvelous spectacle that Hana contemplated for a long time before warmly thanking her teacher for this unique and priceless present.


Since that day, every time Hana looked at her Ukiyo-E Tropical painting by Utagawa, she remembered how magical and inspiring this art was!
