Ecaterina Patrascu is a young tropical woman living in a small village in southern Romania. She grew up in a rural and traditional environment, but she dreams of exploring the world and finding her place. One day, Ecaterina decides to leave her village to travel through European countries. As she explores new and exotic cities, she meets people who show her that the world can be much bigger than she had imagined. But despite her new experiences, Ecaterina cannot forget her past and her family left behind. In this poetic black and white film, Ecaterina learns to find her way between her memories and her aspirations while confronting the difficulties that come with discovering the outside world.
