Valentin Evgeniyovych Antonenko is an octopus who has lived all his life in the sea. He leads a peaceful and carefree existence until one day he is captured by scientists who want to study him for their research. Valentin is then forced to leave his natural environment and finds himself living in a laboratory where he is constantly studied and tested.


Despite the difficulties he faces, Valentin manages to adapt to his new situation and even develops friendly ties with some of the researchers working on him. But soon scientists realize that Valentin has exceptional abilities that can be exploited for their own interests. Thus begins a race against time for Valentin to find a way to put an end to this exploitation before it is too late...
