Kalumba Christina is an orangutan who lives in a small town in the southern United States. She leads a peaceful and happy life with her friends and family, until a tragic incident occurs. A wealthy local businessman wants to get his hands on the land of Kalumba and its neighbors to build an industrial park. He then hires henchmen to intimidate the local population and force people to leave. Determined to protect her home, Kalumba decides to fight against this tyrant. With the help of her friends, she leads a courageous campaign to resist the intimidation of the wealthy businessman and save their threatened village.
