Émilie-Olivia Paradis is a young woman who grew up in a small French village. She has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Pompon and loves spending time outdoors with him and exploring the surroundings. One day, she learns that her father, whom she thought was dead, is in fact alive and a prisoner of the civil war that is ravaging the country. Determined to save her father, Émilie-Olivia decides to set off alone on the path to freedom. With Pompon by her side to protect her from the dangers and difficulties encountered along the way, she faces all obstacles with courage and persistence in order to find her father before it is too late.
