Patrick Savard is a much-loved and popular Golden Retriever in his small rural village, but his life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers the local mayor has plans to build a factory on the farmland surrounding the village. Determined to stop this injustice, Patrick sets out to find incriminating evidence against the mayor and his accomplices. But he has to face many obstacles such as armed guards, physical and verbal threats, and the increasing pressure of the passage of time. With the help of his human and animal friends, Patrick bravely fights to protect his cherished home from the mayor's malevolent forces.
