Georg Hámundsson is a wild leopard who lives in the mountains of Norway. He leads a solitary and suspicious life, carefully avoiding contact with humans. But his loneliness ends when he meets a young woman, Elsa, who is walking in the mountains. Elsa sees something special in Georg and decides to take him home to protect him from the dangers of the outside world.


Over time, Georg begins to adjust to domestic life and becomes very close to Elsa and her adoptive family. Unfortunately, he is still considered an exotic animal by conservative Norwegian society and he has to deal with prejudice and discrimination on a daily basis. At the same time, he must also confront his mysterious past which threatens his peaceful new life with Elsa.
