Mystical Quest

The story begins as the young student, Akira, travels to a Zen Buddhist temple. He came to seek answers to his questions and to learn the principles of the Buddha's teaching.


Akira enters the temple and he is immediately struck by the beauty and peace there. However, he knows he must find an answer to the questions he brought with him. As he explores the halls of the temple, he sees a wooden door that appears to be locked. Intrigued, he decides to try his luck and turns the handle. The door slowly opens to reveal a room lit by flickering candles. In the middle of the room is an altar adorned with Buddhist statues and surmounted by a large black mirror polished like glass.


Akira is intrigued by this mystical mirror and decides to look into it more carefully. When he approaches his face towards the mirror, he can see his reflection but deep in his eyes shines an intense white light that seems to come from the mirror itself. He remains frozen in front of this vision for a long moment before finally the light slowly fades away until the mirror goes black as before. In this magical moment, Akira understands that this is where he will get the answers to his questions: by diving deep within himself to find the true meaning of things around him and by getting to know his own inner spiritual nature. ..
