Science Fiction Spring

It was spring in this polar landscape, and yet it was still very cold, the snow-capped mountains were covered with snow and the ice floes and glaciers reflected the light of the sun's rays.


Suddenly a space shuttle appeared in the sky, its roaring engines echoing throughout the area. She landed gently on a glacier, and a door opened slowly. A man got out of the shuttle and looked around curiously. He was dressed in a silver space suit and wore a transparent helmet that allowed him to see clearly despite the blizzard blowing around him.


The man took a few hesitant steps on the ice before stopping in front of a huge frozen wall that stood in front of him. He stretched his gloved hand towards the wall and muttered a few inaudible words before it began to shake and then slowly melt away until a passage appeared before our astounded eyes. When the passage was large enough for our traveler to enter, he heaved a relieved sigh and disappeared through it without waiting any longer.


A few minutes later, a small green creature flew out of the passage with glittering wings like those of a magic butterfly! This sparkling creature seemed to be made entirely of an unknown luminous substance: it floated above the frozen ground as if suspended by invisible threads... Fascinated by its sudden appearance, we stood still as this little thing moved towards us, happily waving its phosphorescent wings!
