Winter Story

Once upon a time there was a young man, whose name was Pierre. He lived in a small village in the mountains, on the edge of winter. The days were short and the biting cold. But this did not discourage Pierre, he liked to walk in the snow-covered mountains and admire the beauty of the snowy landscapes.

One day, while walking quietly on a snowy path, he heard a very faint sound coming from the depths of the frozen forest. Intrigued by this mysterious sound, he stopped to observe and listen carefully. And the more he paid attention to it, the clearer the sound became: it was a soft and melodious song that a female voice was humming.

Pierre followed the sound until he found its source: a young girl sitting at the foot of a frost-covered tree and dressed in snow-white furs around her. She seemed to be lost or maybe abandoned because she had no one with her and seemed sad despite her beautiful song.

Pierre approached slowly so as not to frighten her and asked her if all was well - she replied with a silent nod and then resumed her soft song which echoed even louder through the frozen mountains. Pierre joined her to finish the song together before they returned to his village to share their music with all who lived there.

Since that day, every year, Pierre and the young girl found themselves on the snowy slopes of the mountains to share their music together. They ended up falling in love, getting married, having a happy family and living happily ever after!
