Picture of Fox Ukiyo-e

Origin Story

Kenichi Murayama was a very intelligent and curious fox. He loved to explore the world around him, discover new things and learn as much as he could. One day, he found himself in an art gallery where he saw a magnificent ukiyo-e depicting a fox. Intrigued by the painting, he approached to find out more about the artist who had created this work. He then learned that the artist was Yoshu Chikanobu and that this ukiyo-e was specially made for Kenichi Murayama. Moved by this thoughtful gesture, Kenichi decided to dedicate his life to learning all he could about traditional Japanese visual arts in order to pay homage to his favorite artist. With hard work and patience, Kenichi soon became a master of traditional Japanese visual arts and managed to produce works as beautiful as those of Yoshu Chikanobu. Even today, people admire the magnificent ukiyo-e depicting the fox named Kenichi Murayama as a symbol of the priceless talent of traditional Japanese artists.
