Origin Story

Once upon a time there was a zebra that lived on the plains of Africa. He was very happy and enjoyed running around and exploring his surroundings. One day, he found himself in front of a large river and decided to cross to see what was on the other side.


However, the current was too strong and he couldn't pass through. He sat down on the bank and looked around hopefully, hoping to find a way to cross to the other side. Suddenly he saw a boat slowly approaching towards him. It was a Japanese boat called Ukiyo-e (literally "picture of the floating world"), painted by the great artist Utagawa. The zebra was so excited that he jumped in immediately!


The trip was long but pleasant because the zebra was able to admire the magnificent landscapes of the banks all along the way. Finally, after several hours of navigation, he arrived at his destination: a paradise island filled with exotic fruit trees and dotted with wild animals such as lions or giraffes! The zebra was amazed by its new environment, colorful and rich in various textures; this island was exactly what he needed to have fun! And thanks to the talented Utagawa who had designed the Ukiyo-e boat, our zebra friend was able to fully enjoy his new tropical adventure!
