Description Of The Environment
The natural environment of the dinosaur was very diverse and included mountainous regions, plains, tropical and subtropical forests, as well as deserts. The prehistoric period during which the dinosaurs lived was characterized by a hot and humid climate. Average temperatures were higher than the current ones, which means that precipitation was abundant. The landscapes that surrounded the dinosaurs included vast grassy plains and lush forests populated by exotic plants. Some regions had a rich fauna of animals such as mammoths, woolly rhinos and other giant reptiles. In some parts of the world, there were also large salt lakes filled with marine fish.
