Night Walk

Candida Legros, an octopus who dreamed of living in Wellington, had finally arrived in the New Zealand capital. She had heard of the twinkling city lights and was eager to experience them. But tonight was a rainy night and there weren't many people in the streets. This didn't seem to bother Candida though: she was walking quietly along the Waterfront to digest her meals.

The cold wind blowing from the harbor was starting to freeze her tentacles, but she continued her walk to the Beehive - an iconic building in Wellington - where she stopped to admire its unique and spectacular architecture. The pouring rain made every shimmering surface shine and Candida stood there for a few minutes enjoying the calm despite the storm looming in the distance. Eventually, after admiring all the architectural beauty Wellington had to offer, Candida set off back to her temporary home to continue her quiet digestion.
