Night Walk

Huā Yún, a Panda from Beijing, decided to walk the streets of her hometown during a rainy night. She was fascinated by the calm and tranquility that reigned after the hustle and bustle of the day.


Huā Yún began his walk in Tiananmen Square, an emblematic place in Beijing. She paused to admire the huge open space and the imposing buildings that surrounded the square. The rain was falling gently on her and Huā Yūn felt soothed by this intimate moment with nature.


She continued her walk towards the Lama Temple, another iconic site in Beijing. There again, Huā Yūn was captivated by the calm and the beauty of the place despite the rain which was falling ever harder. She passed in front of the temple and its magnificent statues before arriving at Lake Houhai located right next to the temple. The shimmering reflections that the water cast on the gray walls of the surrounding buildings were simply magical! Huā Yūn stayed a few minutes to take full advantage of this unique night vision before continuing on his way to the city center illuminated by a thousand colored lights.


Finally arriving in the city center, Huā Yūn could observe how the successive layers of shadows and lights gave the streets a completely different atmosphere than during the day; she was charmed by this very special nocturnal spectacle of which she did not yet know all the secrets!
