Night Walk

Sigurmann Guðleifsson, a parrot with blue and green feathers, wandered the streets of Reykjavik on a rainy night. He had left the zoo to explore the city and marvel at its beauty.

He started in the city center, flying over the rooftops of historic buildings that surrounded Austurvöllur Square. The wind was blowing hard and Sigurmann felt free and joyful at the idea of discovering this part of the Icelandic capital that he did not yet know.

Next, he walked to Hallgrímskirkja, Reykjavik's iconic church that towered over the city with its imposing silhouette. The parrot stopped on the roof to admire the colorful illuminations that illuminated the interior of the religious building. It was wonderful !

When he resumed his flight, Sigurmann flew over Lake Tjörnin where he could observe the swans floating peacefully on the calm waters of the lake before returning to the zoo where he was supposed to be locked up since the beginning of his little nocturnal escapade.
