Night Walk

Soraia Isabela Domingues was a crocodile who lived in the Lisbon Zoo. She liked to watch people pass by her cage, but she dreamed of seeing the city. So one rainy evening, she escaped from the zoo and started wandering the streets of Lisbon.


The lights of streetlamps reflected off her gleaming back as she walked along cobblestone lanes and busy avenues. She passed Rossio Square, where locals gathered to chat and have coffee. Fado music echoed around her as she continued her nocturnal stroll.


Finally, Soraia Isabela Domingues arrived at the Tagus River which flowed through the city. She stopped to admire the beautiful April 25 Bridge that connected Lisbon to other Portuguese cities and sat on the rocks bordered by the clear water to watch the sun gently rise over the Portuguese capital.


She savored this magical moment before she finally returned to the zoo: her nocturnal adventure in Lisbon was over!
