Night Walk

Gou Si was a lion who lived in the Taipei Zoo. He was very curious and eager for adventure, but he had never had the opportunity to leave the zoo. Until the day he escaped and decided to explore the city.


That evening, a light rain fell on Taipei, but it did not scare him. Gou Si quietly strolled the streets of the city, looking around curiously. The night was calm and silent despite the few cars that sometimes passed near him.


Suddenly, Gou Si stopped in front of an imposing building: the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. He stood in front of this iconic monument for a few minutes observing its grandeur and majesty before continuing his nocturnal stroll. He then headed for the city center, where he could admire all the beauty of the buildings illuminated by the street lamps and the many shops still open despite the late hour. Finally, after several hours of exploring Taipei in the rain, Gou Si returned to the zoo to find his animal companions who had been eagerly awaiting his return.
