Cyberpunk

The Groundhog darted across the city, its gray fur contrasting against the cyberpunk city lights. She was one of the last survivors of her race and she had to find a way to survive in this hostile world.


She weaved between dark alleys and buildings that looked like they were going to collapse at any moment. The buildings were covered in graffiti and the ground was littered with trash. La Marmotte moved cautiously, taking heed of the dangers that could arise at every corner.


She passed a shop where merchant robots offered their high-tech products to eager passers-by, then she found herself faced with a group of armed androids patrolling the neighborhood to maintain public order. She quickly hid behind a pile of rusty metal crates and waited for the patrol to pass before continuing on her way.


Further on, she came across a group of humans chatting around a crackling fire. They were talking about the future and the changes it would bring to the cyberpunk world they were part of. The Groundhog remained motionless, listening attentively to their conversation until night fell and these human beings went home to sleep. Only then could she continue on her way to a quieter place where she could find refuge for the night...
