Picture of Fox In Its Natural Environment
Description Of The Environment
The fox is a very adaptable animal that can live in a variety of habitats, ranging from boreal forests to semi-arid regions. It prefers open areas with a mixture of vegetation cover and agricultural land. Foxes are generally nocturnal and hide during the day in underground burrows, rock crevices or thick thickets. They need wide open spaces to hunt and find enough food to survive. Foxes also need nearby sources of fresh water for drinking and bathing.
