Picture of Frog In Its Natural Environment

Description Of The Environment

The natural environment of the Frog is very varied. It consists mainly of forests, wet meadows, marshes and ponds or pools. Frogs like moist, warm environments because it gives them access to abundant food sources and safe havens for hibernation. They can also find a large number of potential sexual partners and a variety of competing or predatory species which stimulate genetic diversity. Most frogs live in groups that can include several hundred individuals, which allows them not only to communicate with each other but also to have access to a greater quantity and quality of food.
