Description Of The Environment

The octopus lives in oceans and seas around the world, at depths ranging from a few centimeters to several kilometers. Preferred habitats are varied, but most commonly found in rocky regions with plenty of crevices and caves to hide in. They can also be found around coral reefs or on sandy bottoms. Octopuses also live in fresh water like lakes and rivers, although this is rarer.
