Description Of The Environment
The natural environment of Marmotte is mainly composed of forests, meadows and mountains. The marmot lives in a variety of habitats such as alpine meadows, pastures, open thickets and even light woods. They can also be found in drier areas with low bushes and rocks that provide shelter from predators. Marmots are very adaptable and can live at an altitude of up to 3,500 meters above sea level. Their ideal habitat is a place rich in grass to feed and burrows to hide in.
