Picture of Parrot In Its Natural Environment
Description Of The Environment
The parrot lives in a varied and very rich natural environment. It can be found in tropical rainforests, tree savannahs, mangroves, swamps, and sometimes even in semi-desert regions. Parrots are primarily land-dwelling birds, but they can also travel long distances to find food or breed. They need tall trees to build their nests and rest during the day. Parrots are omnivores and consume a variety of fruits, seeds, insects and other small animals.
