Picture of Gorilla In Its Natural Environment
Description Of The Environment
The gorilla lives in the humid tropical and subtropical forests of the mountainous regions of central and western Africa. These natural environments are rich in vegetation, including trees, bushes, grasses and vines. Gorillas make their nests on branches or on the ground every night. They feed mainly on fruits, leaves, roots and insects. They may also consume small game such as bats or rodents. Social groups constantly move to find food and shelter in different habitats such as grassy meadows, open forests, or even some urban areas.
