Picture of Leopard In Its Natural Environment
Description Of The Environment
The leopard is a terrestrial animal that lives in a variety of natural environments, including tropical rainforests and drylands, shrubby and grassy savannahs, forested and rocky mountains as well as semi-desert areas. Leopards are adaptable to almost any habitat except snowy regions. They often hide in remote places or caves to avoid their predators. They need dense ground cover to hide and hunt their prey. Leopards can also be found near waterways where they can easily capture aquatic prey.
