Biography
Nakajima Momoko was a Japanese woman born on May 30, 1979. She was passionate about space exploration and decided to follow this path. She enrolled at the University of Tokyo where she earned a degree in space science.
She then went to the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space to major in astronomy and space exploration, which enabled her to successfully apply to JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). On July 28, 2004, she became the first Japanese woman to be sent into space. During her mission, she performed scientific experiments on the effects of space-time flight on the human body.
Unfortunately, her journey ended tragically on September 28, 2005 as she returned to Earth after completing her successful mission. His death will be remembered as a great sacrifice for science and for all those who dream of traveling in space.
