Biography
Agathe Foucher-Andre was a female frog born on 06/04/1766 in France and died on 23/12/1818. Its main value was empathy. Agathe grew up in Paris and she has always had a passion for politics, which allowed her to come into contact with Napoleon Bonaparte. As soon as she had the opportunity to meet Napoleon, she decided to take part in his military campaign. She volunteered and then joined Napoleon Bonaparte's army.
Agathe quickly became famous for her courage and bravery in combat, which earned her promotion to Major after the Battle of Wagram (1809). During this battle, Agathe was responsible for recovering the wounded on the battlefields. Despite the risks involved and the danger that this task represented, Agathe accomplished her mission brilliantly thanks to her natural empathy which allowed her to easily interact with wounded and terrified soldiers. This anecdote has remained engraved in the collective memory of the French people as a heroic act accomplished by a courageous woman: Agathe Foucher-Andre.
