Biography

Luis Rossier was a male octopus born on March 19, 1766 in Switzerland. He grew up in a very strict family that respected Christian values, which instilled in him a deep sense of justice. Wishing to commit to defending these principles, he decided as an adult to leave his native country and went to France at the end of the 18th century.

Once in France, Luis Rossier joined Napoleon Bonaparte's army and quickly rose through the ranks until he reached the rank of lieutenant. In 1813, he took part in the Battle of Bautzen where he showed exemplary courage. His bravery did not go unnoticed and his bravery was rewarded by Napoleon Bonaparte himself who decorated him for his bravery in battle.

During this battle, Luis Rossier had a particularly amusing anecdote: while he was in the front row to observe the hostilities between French and Russians, he saw a frog jump on his shoulder! The soldiers around laughed a lot because even during the war, the animals knew how to bring a little humor and relieve the heavy atmosphere!

But unfortunately, Luis Rossier died on February 22, 1829 after having lived several years full of unforgettable military and human adventures.
